Say something good about Israel!
That saying – in its simplicity – goes to the heart of what we are trying to do. We want to bring the church, and whoever is listening, to a biblical appreciation of Israel. Reaching young people with this message is a main priority.
The Bible serves as the point of departure for our position on Israel, and we seek to relate its message to a complex reality while making sure love for both God and man has a central place.
Through teaching, information, interaction, tours, courses and friendship-building – mostly on site in Israel – we aim at bringing people to the point where they boldly, lovingly, and credibly can say something good about Israel.
The leader of ThereforeIsrael, Roar Sørensen has been involved in Israel work since 1999, including living in Jerusalem for eight years. In addition to studying at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, he has been leading the Israel Department for the Swedish Church Word of Life for more than a decade
