In spite of her many sufferings, a firm conviction remained in Noomi; the God of Israel lives!
When Noomi returned to Bethlehem, the young Moabite woman, Ruth, was so taken by the conviction evident in Noomi’s life that she emphatically proclaimed the famous words: “Your people is my people, and your God is my God.”
Ruth is rightly honored, but the real hero of the story is Noomi. She instilled a love for Israel’s God in the young woman’s heart and even brought her to the Promised Land.
We are looking for Noomi today. Where are you whose heart has been touched by the God of Israel and are seeking to transfer your love for the Jewish people to the next generation?
By contributing to the Finding Noomi Fund, you can help us bring the next generation to Israel and bring Israel to the next generation. Our goal is both to bring young people to the land and also to teach them wherever we find them.
Finding Noomi is looking for you who will help us create a generation of Ruths.
